The cobbled Palmers Close, to the side of Baytree House leads to the self-contained and self-catering Garden Studio with its little private garden and conservatory. A cosy holiday hide-away, yet close to all of Kirkcudbright's attractions and amenities, providing accommodation for two people.

Private Garden

From Palmers Close, the entrance gate leads to the studio’s colourful private garden, with patio area enclosed by attractive fencing. From here you enter the studio via its double doors to the conservatory.

The Conservatory

A feature of the accommodation is a cosy conservatory, which houses a table for two as well as a CD player with a selection of CDs, wicker sofa and 2 x garden chairs for sunny days. Two further double doors lead to the main Studio Apartment.

Internal Facilities

The Studio is centrally heated and a portable electric radiator is stored away for supplementary use if and when needed. All power and fuel is included in the rent, as is all bed-linen, towels, tea towels, cleaning materials, tea and coffee ingredients and toiletries.

Furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, and a comfy sofa and coffee table in the lounge area, a flat screen TV/DVD player with a selection of DVDs is provided. Books, games, a guest folder, visitor information, fresh towels, iron, ironing board, hot water bottle etc. are also provided.

The Studio also houses an ensuite shower room with shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet facilities and a compact kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a small two-ringed cooker with oven/grill, a fridge with ice box, a kettle, microwave and toaster as well as plenty of cupboard space where pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc are stored.

Optional Breakfast and Dinner

Self-catering guests have the option to order cooked breakfasts or evening meals by prior arrangement on any day/s of stay. Meals can be served either to your private table in the Garden Studio conservatory or to a table reserved in the Dining Room at Baytree House. Duration of Stay

The Garden Studio is let on a weekly basis but may also available for short breaks, particularly during the Autumn to Spring season. You can check availability and/or make your booking using our secure online booking service. Deposits are made securely via Paypal and you do not have to sign up to Paypal to use this method of deposit payment. Alternatively, call or email an enquiry.

The Garden Studio is non-smoking accommodation. Smoking is permitted in the private garden.

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
